I'm loocking for a vocabulary to describe a Pushbutton Smoke Exhaust Detector (Druckknopfmelder Rauchabzug) -> see picture

I couldn't find anything in the current BUDO to use. Am I just missing something?

Hi Tobias,
I had some time to look at this point. The actual correct German word is "Handfeuermelder" (see https://www.baunetzwissen.de/glossar/h/handfeuermelder-3140403). The correct English word is according to standard DIN EN 54-11: "manual call points". But "manual call points" have different functions (as you can see here: https://www.laborstrauss.com/en/products/fire-detection-systems/manual-call-points/conventional-technology). I think it is better to introduce a new vocabulary "manual call point" (Abbreviation: MCP)

New vocabulary:

Name english Name german BUDO
manual call point Handfeuermelder MCP
internal fire alarm Hausfeueralarm FIRE.INTE
fire control Brandfallsteuerung FIRE.CTRL

New integrations in BUDO structure:

Category Assignment Specification BUDO
system manual call point fire safety MCP+FIRE
system manual call point internal fire alarm MCP+FIRE.INTE
system manual call point ventilation MCP+VNT
system manual call point fire control MCP+FIRE.CTRL
system manual call point extinguishing system MCP+EXTI
system manual call point emergency MCP+EMR
system manual call point smoke extraction MCP+SM.ETA

Do you have any other comments or what do you think of the proposal?

Looks good to me.

Gategory System means that I can use it in Sub-System and Sub-Sub-System as well, right?
