It's been enough years since the pret repos were refactored, that we could just assume def_warp_events etc exist as headers, and have a selection of either the modern pokered or modern pokecrystal macros depending on whether it's monochrome. (Yes this might have issues with pokered-gbc, but if that can't be cleanly handled without complicating the typical plain pret experience, that's okay.)
