[Feature Request] MQTT integration

It would be great if the app could connect to an MQTT broker so that other devices could communicate with it. For example:

• When the user starts an activity, the app sends an MQTT message indicating the activity
• The app can receive an MQTT message to start or stop the activity

I would like to use this to build a physical device with a display that shows what I'm currently doing and lets me start and stop it without needing my phone.
I can probably work on this if you think it's a good idea.
