Opening this issues to help document the resolution of this issue.
In a nut shell, I have 2 seperate computers where I am un-able to hear the just recorded audio using the Chrome . When I click on the "play" button, the "play" will switch to "stop" but never end and no audio play back.
When I click "Go to next Step" . We can hear the audio on the generated ReadAlong.
Side note1: When I open a new "incognito" window , Everything works.
Side note2: I delete all cookies in regards to RA/ cleared cache still having issues.

For the record, I've tested with Marc, and while I cannot reproduce this problem on my side, I think it's important to leave a trace here that it happened. Our guess is it might be something weird with Marc's configuration, but we could not figure out what. I hope the solution doesn't end up being "clear all your browsing data"... We tried clearing Marc's browsing data for the site itself, and that didn't fix it, and clearing all browsing data globally is a nuisance so I didn't insist Marc test that.
