If you don't have to deal w/ the constraints of the Bitcoin chain, then BLS-based signatures may be more applicable.

TQ @Roasbeef, i too agree BLS is best option.

As you know not all points on Elliptic curve are pairing friendly. So do you know how i can derive a pairing compatible/friendly point using BIP44 that can be used in BLS?
