Multi Monitor Support

Does it support multiple monitors with a separate Tobii 4/5c per monitor. If not, do you plan to add this feature or have some thoughts on how it could be done?

No, it doesn't. AFAIK Tobii doesn't support multiple screens:

Reverse-engineering violates Tobii's License, so the only legal way is to wait for official support.

Maybe an extra feature request will motivate the Tobii dev team:)

BTW, you can use EyeTrackingMouse on the main display and have a regular mouse to work with other displays. It is a very useful setup. You can keep all clickable stuff on the main display and use hotkeys for everything else.

Talon voice does allow multi-monitor support - I believe through a custom driver. Are you saying that it isn't legal? I did add a post to the tobii forums to help nudge them along.

Not necessary. They might have a special agreement with Tobii. Or they didn't reverse engineer anything to implement that. Here is a cite from the license agreement for EyeTrackingMouse:

Except as expressly permitted by this Agreement, You will not, nor permit or authorise anyone else to:
b) copy, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to extract or derive the
source code or any methods, algorithms or procedures from the Licensed Software, or modify,
adapt, translate or create derivative works based upon the Tobii products except as otherwise
expressly permitted by applicable law

On second thought licensing shouldn't be an issue. I think Tobii tries to prevent its competitors from copying the trackers, and hence the prohibition for reverse engineering. I don't think they try to prevent us from having good things.

Interesting. I cannot find this driver on their GitHub page. Any chance they could open-source the driver?

A word about my personal motivation:
I don't use a dual-monitor setup (I don't like spinning my head) and I think CTRL+WIN+ARROWS hotkeys are much better than additional physical screens. So, I don't have a second display, and I don't need it besides implementing this feature in EyeTrackingMouse. Although I realize that this feature is essential for some others.

In order to implement this feature, I'll need

1. Know-how. A usage example with a dual-screen setup will do.
2. Funding. Nowadays I cannot afford to spend much time for free. And I'll need to buy a second display/eyeTracker

I'll appreciate it If you help me somehow with any of this;)
