Feature Request: Variables for plugins

If you can enable variables be accessible for plugins it allows for custom search engines and shell commands galore.

example

open https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/variable

or

todo test rustcast
shell script to post "test rustcast" to API, etc.

Custom Shell commands are possible already! I should have added a few into the config.toml / defaults.toml

[[shells]]
command   = ["command", "arg1", "arg2"] # but shell scripts are preffered
icon_path = "~/path/to/icon"
alias     = "Display text"
alias_lc  = "search text"

Additionally due to the macos open command, its possible to open pages / apps, etc. and you can even use custom icons if needed!

open command example:

command = ["open", "/Applications/Spotify.app"]
icon_path = "/Applications/Spotify.app/Contents/Resources/AppIcon.icns" # png's also work. .jpg and other image formats haven't been tested
alias = "Spotify Shortcut"

So if I wanted to send a multi world variable to a shell script, how would I do that? (the example you've given looks great, but that seems to only look viable for single word variables.

Its the same way, it would be simply:

[[shells]]
command = ["open", "/Applications/Spotify.app"]

and the searching would be songs spotify

Sorry, I mean passing what I've typed as a variable to the command.

ie

[[shells]]
command = ["godspeed-cli"]
icon_path = "/Applications/Godspeed.app/Contents/Resources"
alias = "Add task"
alias_lc = "gs"

would mean that if I opened rustcast and ran
gs test rustcast variable passthrough
then it would run the shell command of
godspeed-cli test rustcast variable passthrough

Hmm.. yeah this would be a nice feature to have. I'm not sure how the implementation would work for this... I'll think about it, and come up with a solution. I'm open to ideas if you have some...

So this feature would unlock custom searches as well as passing variables on to shell scripts.

My naive thought on how to approach it is scan through the available commands and if it matches run that command, but I'm not sure if that's the part that you're unsure about how to proceed on or if it's at another level of the code.

I'm not sure about how the variables should be passed into the shell command. I was thinking that it would be something like how bash uses z$1 or something like that, and it will iterate through all the args passed in a replace it. I think I have an idea of how to implement this. I'll work on this and see how it turns out.
