(SUGGESTION) Lightbar off option

Is it possible to leave the lightbar off? I've heard some reports that this helps with the controller's battery. It could be something useful when you are too lazy to play with the cable and the controller's battery is low

The lightbar is an LED light, and LEDs are usually pretty energy efficient. So, I don't think it will save THAT much power. But, if you just really want to squeeze the last bit of power out of it, or if you hate that v2 shining in your eye at night (God, Sony... WHAT were you thinking???)... Here's where you can turn off the light or dim it:

You can also set a profile for normal lightbar, and second for dimmed/off and use a 'Special Action' to swap between the two profiles with a button combo. :)

The closest the hardware allows is setting the lightbar color to Black (0, 0, 0). Never got a chance to see if there would be any real difference in battery life. That type of test would probably take at least a day between two power charges.

I might've not understood you well but, You can always just change the saturation to 0%.
