Using profiles with UDP Server #2390
-
As per the title, I'd like to use profiles when utilizing the UDP server. It seems that the server just passes through raw button presses/gyro, which is fine, but I was wondering if there was a way to utilize profiles to do more complex actions and pass them through the server. Am I missing something or is this impossible? Thanks in advance. |

I thought all the udp server passed was gyro data? The rest should be handled through the normal controller mappings |

The UDP server passes most of the controller data, including buttons and axes. I don't remember if profile settings applies to the data being passes through the server, but if you are trying to use it with an emulator then most emulators allow you to use the normal virtual controller DS4W creates (which is affected by the profile) for the general button/sticks/triggers bindings and use the UDP server just for motion. |
