When trying to install vscode, following the steps outlined here: https://github.com/SAP-samples/datahub-integration-examples/blob/main/GitWorkflow/vscode-app/Readme.md

I get the following error:

Issue also reported here: https://answers.sap.com/questions/13533733/error-installing-vscode-application-git-integratio.html

I've successfully been able to install vscode to our other SAP Data Intelligence instances in the past - wondering if something recently changed?

Thanks.

I have exactly the same problem today.

Maybe caused by the new DI version 2110.30.35?

The install was sucessfull before the DI 2110

I got the following suggestion from DI support

Option 1:

DevOps: Set NON_CA_UPLOADED_APPS_INSTALL_ALLOW_LIST="["vscode-app"]' in the vsystem-vrep configmap
DevOps: Restart vrep
Will allow installing vscode-app for all tenants in a DI cluster
No further DevOps involvement required. Customer can upload and install new versions of the vscode-app

Option 2:

Customer uploads vscode-app solution into solution repository
DevOps logs in as cluster admin
DevOps adds solution to customer tenant
Need to do these steps again if an update of the vscode app is wanted

I have the same issue when installing vscode plugin.
For Option 1, where can I find the vsystem-vrep configmap mentioned?

On Option 2, did up to the suggested step 3. However, adding the Solution to the Strategy throws this error

the update was aborted because of the following errors solution apps found in vscode-app: ["vsc-app"]

Option 2 seems incomplete. Adding a solution to the Tenant cannot be the last step. Don't understand how Option 2 will fix the issue.

I have full admin rights for my cluster. Pl. let me know what I should do get past the error,

Thanks
