In the "Joule Landscape Recommendation" [1] one of the options is to use SAP Cloud Identity Services PROD with all of the dev, test, and prod tiers. However, there are examples of SAP applications which don't support this integration, e.g. SAP Integrated Business Planning [2]. Also, SAP has in the past explicitly recommended against this approach "for security reasons" [3].
If the normative recommendation is departing from SAP's previous recommendations [3], there should be an explicit acknowledgment of this and an explanation of the support that could be provided to customers who previously followed SAP's recommendation.
Otherwise, are there updates due in [2] and [3], e.g. according to decisions made as part of "all-in-on-AI"?
