Problem with events functionality

3)Description:
On clicking create event from the create events page a message pops up saying event created but nothing is entered into the db. Any wrong data can be entered without being validated too.

4. Steps to reproduce the issue:
   1- Open homepage
   2- Click on create event
   3- Enter any data and a message pops up saying "Event is posted successfully"

5. Expected results:
   Data entered to be validated and if correct to be inserted in the database.
