<h2>2007-2008</h2>

<p>Activities included a listening/show-and-tell session, a tutorial on Linux music software and <a href="http://www.puredata.info">Pure Data</a>, and an EOH project: "In C".</p>
<p>"In C (in Python)" is a computer program that simulates a group of musicians playing <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_C">"In C"</a>, the classic minimalist piece by <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terry_Riley">Terry Riley</a>. We have released the <a href="in-c.tar.gz">source code</a> to this project.</p>
<h2>2006-2007</h2>
<p>EOH project: "Robotic Orchestra". We attempted to create a MIDI-controlled recorder quartet. Lessons learned: don't attempt to wire up a board for the PIC microcontroller from scratch -- just use something like the <a href="http://arduino.cc">Arduino</a> instead.</p>
<h2>2005-2006</h2>
<p>EOH project: "Turing and the Wolf". We wrote a computer program that automatically generates chord progressions to transition from one piece of music to another.</p>
