The competition is to be from 07 Oct 2016 to 16 Oct 2016. This competition hopes to improve the technical skill sets and logical thinking of DISM students across levels. \r\n\r\n---\r\n\r\n## Updates\r\n01/10/2016 - 0010hr: Registration for the competition is over. Please check your emails to see if you have been invited to the competition. More details will be sent to you through your team emails as the date approaches.\r\n\r\n\r\n25/09/2016 - 1300hr: 5 more days before the competition registration closes! Please sign up as soon as possible!\r\n\r\n\r\n17/09/2016 - 1300hr: We have fixed the errors in the days of the date (previously I thought 7 Oct was a Wednesday). We have also decided to end the competition a day earlier so that our administration process could be done on a weekend. We apologize for any inconvenience.\r\n\r\n---\r\n\r\n## Competition Details\r\nThis competition is targeted at Singapore Polytechnic Diploma in Infocomm Security Management. However, other courses and schools are allowed to participate so long as the organisers allow it. All participants are required to form a team of 4 members and are given a shared account during the competition period. Participants are allowed to use their own equipment and tools so long as they adhere to the rules. \r\n\r\nThis competition's format will be Capture the Flag, which means that teams must solve questions and find the flag (usually text) and upload to the official scoreboard website. The team with the highest points at the end of the competition will be the winner. If there is a tie for first place, the team which scores the most points first will get the first place.\r\n\r\nMore information regarding the competition will be released either through this website, or via the emails provided by the teams as the date draws close to the competition.\r\n\r\n### Prizes\r\nAll DISM students will get CCA points for participation to this event. \r\n\r\nPrizes for the top 3 teams have yet to be confirmed.\r\n\r\n### Rules\r\n* Do not attack the PCs of other competitors.\r\n* Do not attack the scoring server.\r\n* Do not attack anything outside of the CTF environment.\r\n* Do not delete or modify flags.\r\n* ARP poisoning or any form of man-in-the-middle attack is prohibited. This action is subject to disqualification.\r\n* Sharing flags or solutions is prohibited. This action is subject to disqualification.\r\n* Brute-forcing flags will not be tolerated.\r\n* Denial of service attacks on any challenge will not be tolerated, unless the challenge calls for such an attack.\r\n* If you find any bug in the system, let us know. We might give you some bonus points.\r\n* Organizers' decision is final.\r\n\r\n---\r\n\r\n## Registration\r\nRegistration is over!
