IPC/ Integration with other apps

Hi!

I'm the developer of TheElixZammuto/moonlight-xbox and I stumbled across your repo, very interesting!

Are you planning to implement some sort of Inter Process Comunication system to make other apps aware of Oberon?

I would like to extend Oberon to support other input methods (mouse, full DS4/DualSense support) so that other app (like Moonlight) can be aware of that and read the events alongside the native Xbox one, so for example we might achieve Mouse support on Xbox.

Do you have any idea about this in mind or would you like a PR with this in mind?

Hello, thanks for creating this issue, I am quite a fan of moonlight-xbox actually.

My plan was to create something like an "Oberon SDK", mainly for supporting rumble and possibly haptics. I'm not sure how IPC would work on xbox but if it is possible then it would be amazing. Another concern would be if the sunshine/apollo host even supports dualsense features like touchpad/adaptive triggers/haptics.

So yeah I'm open to collaborating with something like this and would love to contribute to moonlight-xbox as well.

Sunshine on Linux supports DS5, unfortunately this does not apply to Windows but at least we can cover the feature already on DS4 that Xbox does not support (lights, touchpad, gyro)

I think that the only way for two packaged apps is to expose a loopback interface: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uwp/communication/interprocess-communication#loopback, the downside is that every app that can interact with Oberon must added on the Oberon package

I'll see if I can make it work, my main concern is that Xbox is very aggressive with memory limits on background apps. From my experimentation running a websocket server in the background causes the memory limiter to trip and the remotes to disconnect. I will have to research if other IPC methods like named pipes or mail slots work on Xbox.
