@IainM-BioSS said that it would be useful to have some input from a web developer on his data management work area to make a basic web front end for an SQL database that will be used for meta-data, catalogueing and linking etc (I think). Django was mentioned as what's needed but I'm not sure if that's a definite requirement. This is a placeholder issue to register the need for this task and we can add the details from Iain when known.

As discussed in yesterday's meeting, Django is not set in stone but something like this could cover the database, web views/forms and REST API generation needed.
