Could you document additional guidelines?

Similar to Nimrod's list. There are a few things that I see frequently and could use a list of preferences. Examples:
"Super Mutant" or "super mutant"
"drugs" or "chems"
"L.A. Boneyard" or "the Boneyard"

I prefer lower case super mutant. Having it capitalized to me is like writing, "I am Human." or "That is a Bird."
Chems over drugs, unless it's referencing anesthetics like in the BoS doc dialogue. Chems was one of those slang words that always stuck with me when thinking about Fallout.
I can go either way on the Boneyard.

The lower case option is correct, but maybe it's been capitalized to highlight importance?

Capitalization of Super Mutant and Water Chip is intentional and will not
change. Water Chip is for emphasis as you said; as far as the Vault Dweller
knows, it might be the only one.

Super Mutants is capitalized because of specificity. "super mutants" could
just mean "excellent mutants" or whatever. Super Mutants is capitalized as
such to indicate denotation of the specific large-sized, infertile,
aggressive & usually-unintelligent manufactured fighters.

Where should the preferences thing go, in a README.MD or in the wiki? They
have pros & cons:

WIKI: Pro- everyone can edit it. Con- probably lots of people won't see it,
because it's a small link on the righthand side.
README: Pro- Easy to see, and if we put it in
ENGLISH/FIXT/DATA/TEXT/ENGLISH, pretty much everyone who views the English
files will see it, at least for a second when the page loads. Con- not
everyone can edit it.

I'm still on the fence about Boneyard. A year or two ago I was adamant they
should all be "L.A. Boneyard" but now I'm not so sure. But I think we
should go ahead and leave it for now, unless we start getting complaints or
realize a significant reason for changing it back.

Personally I don't like "chems"; as far as I know it only exists because of
censorship. Some European countries aren't fans of drugs in games, even by
name/word. They aren't chems and realistically nobody would ever say that.
Chems would of course be short for chemicals and there's literally
thousands of chemicals in the natural world... whereas drugs is a specific
thing and everyone knows what that means. I don't see why post-war the
wording would change.
