TSC3 will not use a live level background on the title screen, simply because it overcomplicates things for not much gain. Instead, a nice artwork of type PNG with measurements 1280x1024 would be very nice. Let your imagination wander around.

To speed up the process, I'm going to use some very ugly background image until this issue is resolved :-)

The native resolution has changed with commit ddb6cf1 to 1080p, i.e. 1920x1080px. See this ML thread and the IRC discussion.

Thus, please design the background image with dimensions of 1920x1080px.
