Anyway to have this work with xivlauncher at the same time

I really like the japanese and english text feature but i cant get it to work with xivlauncher at the same time so i can use the plugins too. Any way to get them working or is there an alternative?

It does work. Install Alex64 as d3d9 and d3d11 DLLs. I just don't remember if is install launcher first then alex, or alex then launcher because is been quite a while. Maybe doesn't matter.

Anyway, I then did what is in Wiki ( https://github.com/Soreepeong/XivAlexander/wiki/XivAlexander-Help#miscellaneous ).

Settings > auto-start >

Path to Alex should be C:\Users\YOURUSER\AppData\Local\XivAlexander\XivAlexanderLoader64.exe, command line is -a load, click the ok then V to save.

After putting OTP number and confirming your login, Alex will show up right before the game exe pops up. THere's some kind of bug that sometimes it does not load Dalamud on first load so you need to kill the game and start login over. Enable DAlamud to show in start screen so it's easier to see if it loaded fine or not.

i did what you said and alexander also launches but the japansese text does not show up and yes i did do the modding steps for it as if i launch alexander by itself it works.
