[Issue]: Giving Block Does Not Send Receipt Email #82

Describe the Issue in Detail

On the Giving Block, there is a setting for the Receipt Email, however no receipt email is sent. No error is displayed and no exception is created. Instead, you are told that you will receive a confirmation email, but no confirmation email is sent:

I tested in our app (TestFlight v1.7.0.11) and in the Blue App (v1.7.0.8).

Can reproduce in

  • Orange App
  • Blue App

Steps to Reproduce

  1. In the Block settings for the Giving Block, set a Receipt Email.
  2. Test a gift.
  3. See no Receipt Email is sent.

Expected Behavior

Receipt Email should be sent.

Actual Behavior

Receipt Email is not sent.
