`maic.boot()` seems to treat centering different to `maic()` #2

seems odd. where is BC.ALD passed from? the call uses AC.IPD data
why is this centering used in maic.boot() and not maic()?

We are not resampling the BC.ALD as we only have aggregate-level data for it. We are only resampling the AC.IPD.

Yes, the centering could be in maic() as opposed to maic.boot().
