A team of scientists (Dr. Daren Fearon and Dr. Jasmin Aschenbrenner) at Diamond Light Source in the UK managed to get the crystal structure of CHIKV-nsP3-Macrodomain and they were able to Soak 1339 fragments so far. From 4 different libraries they obtained 858 samples in storage. They determined 20 hits in active site, and 20 outside out active site. A fragment screening is running and the hit identification will be announced in February 2023.
