Hey,

my Birthday Calendar App shows birthdays twice or sometimes three times. I have an HTC10 with Android 8. I have already disabled all accounts in the Account-Filter tab with no success.
Has anyone a solution or is this a bug in this app for newer Android versions?

Some apps such as Threema expose their own contact DB and include the birthday even if the birthday isn't stored in the Threema contact, effectively duplicating entries, similar to #94

The solution is to deselect Threema (or whatever app is causing the issue) in the Account Filter setting of Birthday Adapter. Perhaps this could be added to the FAQ.
