The current color picker gives too many possibilities. It is very hard to choose an identical color. Could you use a color picker that ofers only a selection of https://www.google.com/design/spec/style/color.html which are conform the Material Design?

The new color picker should make this more easy while still allowing many different colors (like many users requested).

I am unsatisfied with the HSV color representation of the color picker. For example, I want to set the color of my calendar to HEX #EA4335 / RGB (234, 67, 53) which would be HSV (5, 77, 92). However, the color picker only allows for some odd maxium values of HSV (168, 64, 64). Hence, I am unable to set my desired color. Can you please change the color representation to HEX or RGB?

I have to agree with the @PanderMusubi.
Love the app(!), simple and effective, with the exception of colour selection. It would be more effective to provide a selection of predefined colours to quickly choose from and an additional 'custom' colour that presents you with the current colour picker with the more common RGB values.

Even though this issue has been closed, no new color picker is in the app. Can this issue please be reopened? Thanks.
