Reminder set at a certain time, rings at a different one

Hi,
if I try to set a reminder for my birthdays, the reminder is set to a wrong and strange time.
For example, I set
'At the day of event'
time 09:00
but on the calendar app the reminder is set to
-9 hours
and it rings at 18:00 (I use a 24 hour clock and my time-zone is GMT+1).
If I set 10:00, the values become -10hours and so on.

If I try to change the reminder from the calendar app, the drop-down suggests me (apart from the -9 hours value) the default values from 0 minutes to 1 week.

Running Android 6.0.1, Birthday Adapter 2.0 (19) from F-Droid.

Same here on a Huawei P10 lite running Android 7.0 (FW version WAS-LX1C432B124).

For example: If I configure "at the day of event" and 00:00, the reminder is shown in the calendar at 9:00 am at the day of event.
