Howdy Hugo,
Nice work here.
Is there any chance to add audio on the source bins and the main pipeline and split sinks? I am assuming its yet to be done or are you mixing the audio out-of-loop to the video?

In addition, is there a method to disconnect source and split bins from the main pipeline to make the selection of sources dynamic?

Good choice of GStreamer framework using go-gst package btw.

look forward in a response.

Hi Sonny,

The pipeline in gstreamer_pipeline.go is essentially configured for one master audio source, this can be an alsasrc, or decklinkaudiosrc from the Decklink capture cards. This is only a restriction of my processing pipeline to keep things simple, but nothing prevents you from adding an audio mixer and multiple audio sources in front of the audio splitter.

In addition, is there a method to disconnect source and split bins from the main pipeline to make the selection of sources dynamic?

So something like a crossbar? Maybe this helps: https://cgit.freedesktop.org/gstreamer/gstreamer/tree/docs/design/part-block.txt?h=0.11 (dynamically switching an element in a PLAYING pipeline). You can also separate pipelines and connect them with intervideo/interaudio elements. However, I found them quite buggy.

Not sure if there is an actual crossbar-like element for GStreamer, but nothing prevents you from making one :)

Good choice of GStreamer framework using go-gst package btw.

Thank you.

~ Hugo
