Go to a youtube live stream
Press play
NewPipe attempts to play then stops then throws exception

Expected behavior

NewPipe should play live streams reliably

Actual behavior

NewPipe does not start playing live stream

yeah, I'm wondering now if the problem was related to a frozen VPN connection possibly causing networking issues for my device. I will test again next week with 0.27.0-RC builds and report back.

No... it's almost like NewPipe is trying to grab beyond the livestream (maybe similar to problems opening bookmarked link #10974)...

Does it happen on another device/OS? I would have asked about trying different resolution/codec combos, but those don't apply to livestreams, so our debugging options are limited.

Haven't been able to test on another device. But, NewPipe crashed again on my daily device. The linked stream will play on NewPipe after the live stream is over.
