  • I have read and understood the contribution guidelines.

Affected version

0.27.6

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Play video in Newpipe
  2. Pause video
  3. Switch Toyota car media center from radio to Bluetooth
  4. Video resumes playing automatically

Expected behavior

I expect that the video or song does not resume playing until I unpause it.

Actual behavior

I have a recent Toyota which is paired with my phone over Bluetooth.

Ever since I got this car, I have had this issue that is reproducible every time in Newpipe. I am unable to reproduce this with any other type of media player.

When I start my car, it connects with Bluetooth automatically. If I have a video that was playing in Newpipe and was paused it automatically resumes the video which is jarring and very annoying behavior.

I'm Newpipe settings, I set Autoplay to off and resume playing is disabled.

I am able to make this happen every time in Newpipe but haven't been able to do so with any other media player so I'm left to conclude that it's something with Newpipe

I just downloaded and installed the latest nightly refactor build to see if this build also had this issue and it does.
