Option for disabling Trending videos etc from showing up in the "left menu"

Feature description

This started showing up in NewPipe for me which I don't want to see, but I don't see any options for turning these Trending .../Live menu items off.

Why do you want this feature?

It helps detoxing YouTube addiction by not seeing any UI elements that wants you further engage with the phone and watch videos for longer. (I've already turned off everything I can like Related videos, Comments etc)

Additional information

Only that it's part of a feature that helps reduce digital addiction in this area of the web (YouTube).
Small changes can make a world of difference for those who really struggle with quitting/reducing screen time. The user gets back some real control.

Instead of adding yet another option that users would need to find, we could just add a collapsible header at the top of the trending section, and persist its state across app restarts. This way if you don't care about trending you just collapse it once and stop caring about it.
