I don't know if this is just an iOS quirk, now that I think about it. But if you open up cal.techatnyu.org on iOS and try to download, these ancient events (archival DemoDays) will show up at the top.

@grungerabbit this isn't too hard to do. Just to put a filter on the node script.

Also: I've changed the download to a subscribe. The new one will update as the CDN is still propagating. Check http://cal.techatnyu.org/index.html.
