I revised the manuscript, by removing the example and adjusting the structure. Since JOSS doesn't recommend to include API docs and have a limit of 250-1000 words. See https://joss.readthedocs.io/en/latest/paper.html and their example paper https://joss.readthedocs.io/en/latest/example_paper.html.

Intro to index slicing is added.
