Does openroad have a non-command-line startup mode?

Can openroad startup without tclcmdline but just run with internal code? Because I want combine openroad's some modules with my program for academic research.

You can modify it locally to do what you like but it makes no sense for general usage. It would be more idiomatic to just add a new command.

@maliberty this is the exact kind of use case we're trying to enable with the library mode. This should be supported if I understand @inv1s10n's user case.

It would be a good test customer for the APi work...

A library doesn't start the application so that seems like a different use model to me.
