It was recently announced that Theano support is being dropped and there seems like 1.0 will be the "last" release so to say.
As a downstream user of libgpuarray, what does this mean for libgpuarray. Will it still be maintained independently?

In any case libgpuarray will still be maintained for about a year (just like Theano will be).
I plan to maintain it after that and it could be part of future research projets that we do in the realm of GPU computing.
