Game Rules & Mechanics

Stellarcade features a variety of games, all built with transparency and fairness as core principles.

🪙 Coin Flip

A classic 50/50 chance game.

How to Play

  1. Enter your bet amount (Stellar assets).
  2. Choose "Heads" or "Tails".
  3. Sign the transaction.
  4. If the result matches your choice, you win!

Payouts

  • Multiplier: 1.95x (2.5% house edge goes to the platform prize pool).
  • Minimum Bet: 1 XLM (or equivalent).
  • Maximum Bet: Dependent on current prize pool depth.

🧠 Daily Trivia

Test your knowledge and win tokens.

How to Play

  1. Pay a small entry fee to join the daily round.
  2. Answer 10 questions within the time limit.
  3. Your score is recorded on-chain.

Payouts

  • The top 10% of players share the daily trivia pool.
  • Payouts are distributed at the end of the day (UTC).

📈 Higher or Lower

Predict the next value in a sequence.

How to Play

  1. A starting number (1-100) is shown.
  2. Predict if the next random number will be "Higher" or "Lower".
  3. Each correct guess increases your potential payout.
  4. You can "Cash Out" or "Keep Playing".

🎲 Randomness & Fairness

All game results are generated using our Provably Fair RNG Contract.

How it Works:

  1. Server Seed: Generated by the system.
  2. Client Seed: Provided by your wallet/app.
  3. Nonce: A sequential number for each game.
  4. Result: The hash of (Server Seed + Client Seed + Nonce) determines the outcome.

The Server Seed is revealed after a game session ends, allowing you to verify the outcome yourself.

💰 House Edge & Prize Pools

Most games carry a small house edge (typically 2-3%). This edge is used for:

  1. Prize Pool Buffers: Ensuring there's always enough to pay out winners.
  2. Platform Maintenance: Future development and hosting.
  3. Community Rewards: Occasional airdrops and bonuses.
