I thought it might be useful to have a brainstorming location. A place to float ideas about aTW rather than code.

I edited and moved this here. I had posted it in the wrong place. Just floating some thoughts, not expecting answers.

User freedom vs developer control!

Will aTW be an empty framework which users can install their own existing wikis into or will it come with a wiki preinstalled and with the option to download prepackaged editions?

Will users be free to install plugins and tinker with the workings, just like a full TW5, or will the full flexibility be hidden or even restricted?

Not many playstore apps offer the level of user flexibility/botchability that TW provides.

Plugins/Editions might be offered as prepackaged, downloadable 'extras' which enhance, extend or change the aTW basic functionality. (eg notetaker, flashcarder, contact manager, photo gallery, GTD. TW can do a lot of things that currently require individual apps).

aTW as mini 'OS' with its own ecosystem of plugins, (but within Android)?

Maintenance and support implications of full vs controlled use if the app is intended for the playstore?

I made a starting list (in aTW!) of things I thought might go on a gantt chart if I had one and was being super organised. Not in any order. Helpful? Suggest additions/deletions if you like. No need to explain.

I found a gantt charter for TW here: https://gt6796c.github.io
it needs the additional roclib plugin but does not work with the flowchart plugin installed at the same time. (Red java error). The tid type needs to be set to text/vnd.tiddlywiki.mermaid
Then just put text from the gantt example here;
https://mermaidjs.github.io/mermaid-live-editor
Into a tiddler.
If you do decide to use TW on github for documentation it might work with it.
