TruShell v3 - Call for Core Contributors (12–16 week sprint)

We want to create a Linux- and POSIX-compatible shell. This shell will have a terminal core and it will have safe WASM extensions. We need your help to make the TruShell community version 3 really good and something that people will want to use by default.

Our main goals are:

• We want to make sure that scripts that work with /bin/sh will also work with the TruShell community version 3. If they do not work we want to have a fallback option.
• We want to make sure that the TruShell community version 3 handles processes correctly. This includes things like job control, signals and pipelines.
• We want the core of the TruShell community version 3 to be fast and small. We also want to make sure that optional features are only loaded when they are needed.
• We want the TruShell community version 3 to be safe by default. This means that extensions will run in a sandbox that restricts what they can do.
