How does sidebar move the zoom controls over?

I am completely a noob and am really struggling to create something like [this]https://github.com/lyoungblood14/myrepo1/blob/main/iPhone%208%20Plus%20-%201.png), where the "active area" of the map is condensed. I have found leaflet-active-area and adapted to react environment, but still have the issue with the leaflet controls. here

I think that this sidebar-v2 plugin has something in the code that could help me, but I have combed through and am too dumb to find it.

So the question it, what in the code makes the zoom controls move to the right, as in example 1, when the sidebar is expanded?

Any help is much appreciated!
