Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
We are seeing a performance degradation after putting Tyk in place in our system. major issue is that whenever there are errors like 'http: proxy error: EOF', Tyk forwards the same error to client. It would be much useful if there is a mechanism to do a retry in place
Describe the solution you'd like
Something where we can define a response code or regex and max number of retries.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I am considering to implement the logic with plugin but it will be little too much.
