Black bars covers Start button in ending

If you beat Super Mario 64, then during the cutscene on the castle, the black bars on the top and bottom cover the Start button, and the top pixel of the R, and U button. Once the screen turns white, there is a brief period of time where the black bars disappear, and as a result, uncovering those buttons.
