Issue Description

I'm guessing this is the same issue as #41, except it is caused by simply upgrading to the latest proprietary image. Maybe Wayland was enabled for GDM in that image when it was intended for the NVIDIA 535 image? I was able to upgrade through TTY and the issues I had were seemingly fixed, but if someone doesn't know how to access TTY, they would be stuck unless they were able to look up instructions externally

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Upgrade nvidia-proprietary image using abroot upgrade -f
  2. Restart when complete
  3. Boots to frozen GDM

On what version of Vanilla OS this happens?

Vanilla OS 2 Orchid

nvidia-proprietary image got deprecated, now only the nvidia image is supported. Which one are you using?
