Hello, this guide is exactly what I was looking for - thanks for creating it. In the first step, you say to set the origin "close to the corner". Please can you explain what you mean by "Close to" and which corner (TL TR BL or BR) you are referring to.

The best place to put the Drill and Place offset is bottom left (BL) corner of the board, this way you will have the positive coordinates for X and Y in your Gerber files. So here are some examples:
