<h2>Applied Mathematics</h2>
<p>The day will be filled with one-on-one conversations, which will be scheduled for each student. There will also be lunch included. When the registrations open, you can indicate what time slots would be suitable for you in the registration form so we can make a schedule that will fit you! We will try to schedule as many company talks as you are interested in, however, we can not guarantee you will be scheduled with all your choices.</p>
<p>
The day will start with a workshop and throughout the day, there will also be talks about pursuing a career in the industry or academia. It is also possible to sign up for these talks in the registration form. Stay updated on the site or the Facebook page for the content of the workshop and the speakers.

<p>This Personal Branding workshop teaches you how to confidently tell a short and concise story about who you are and what you stand for! During this training you will learn how to present the best version of yourself to companies, so that they can't ignore you anymore. Moreover, you will gain insight into your qualities, your added value and how you can effectively communicate these to others.</p>

<p>Mark Veraar is professor at Delft University of Technology. Author of over 60 research papers, and several books. He is a leading researcher in the theory of evolution equations and stochastic partial differential equations. After finishing his PhD in Delft, he held post-doctoral positions at the Universities of Warsaw and Karlsruhe, the latter with a Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship. In 2009 he continued at Delft University of Technology. There he received VENI and VIDI grants from the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research.
<br><br>
He has been active in several national committees and boards such as Koninklijk Wiskundig Genootschap, Platform Wiskunde Nederland, and Stieltjes. He is editor for several international journals including Stochastics and Partial Differential Equations: Analysis and Computations, and the Dutch journal Indagationes Mathematicae. <br><br>
He has taught many bachelor and masters courses in the Applied Mathematics education. Among those are Mathematical Structures and Real analysis, which are two of the basic introductions to mathematical analysis. In 2017 he became teacher of the year for Applied Mathematics and for the Faculty EEMCS.</p>

<p>Sheila Leenders has 25 years of experience in career in High Tech operations. he worked at different companies: ASML, Phillips, Amgen and Océ. Now she is Vice president EUV Factory at ASML. She studied Mathematics & post-masters Industrial Engineering at the Technical University Eindhoven.
Her motto as a leader is: 'People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel'</p>
