LIcense Error during installation

I already have the Wolfram Engine and then I downloaded the WLJS notebook as a free alternative to Mathematica. After installation, when I try to launch it the launcher says: "The wolfram engine exited because of the license error". But the wolfram engine alone works fine in terminal mode. I couldn't find any info on the installation guide of the website about this. Can anyone help?

This is a typical error message from Wolfram Engine if something went wrong (not even a license).
Could you, please, show the early messages from the console?

And by the way, which version of Wolfram Engine do you have? We tested it successfully only across 13.3-14.4. The older versions do have a buggy module system, which messes up with library loading.
