Releases: WOA-Project/Lumia950XLPkg
Version 2.10
This update includes quality improvements as well as new features. Key changes include:
- Addresses a problem which causes any EFI event that uses periodic timer to fail.
- Introduces hotkey for entering rEFInd boot manager (you need to download and install rEFInd on your own.)
- Introduces user prompt for boot failures.
- Upgrades EDK2 base to the latest version.
- Removes Lattice UC120 FPGA configurator from default build config as it is not necessary anymore.
Installing rEFInd
rEFInd makes it easier for developers to boot multiple OS on Lumia. For most LumiaWoA users it is unnecessary to install rEFInd.
Not every rEFInd release will work (some might break, e.g. the latest version.) I've used rEFInd version 0.11.4 for a while, which works fine for me. You can download from here. Choose refind-bin-0.11.4.zip
.
Unzip the package, copy refind
directory to your EFI system directory (e.g. \EFI
). You can also put it on a SD card partition that is formatted with FAT/FAT32.
Rename refind.conf-sample
to refind.conf
. Open it, and uncomment enable_touch
like this:
You are done - press power button or tap the screen to enter rEFInd. Use power button for enter key (or left mouse button), camera for escape (Esc) and touch screen for the pointer.
