The relevant message is Ignoring '/dev/dri/card0': not a KMS device, have you tried the things described here? https://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86_64/396.51/README/kms.html

I'm not sure which one is more recent, I have not used nvidia hardware in a long time, but you need to enable KMS in a way which works with the newer drivers.

My wayfire had the same std out few days ago in Arch, and mistakes disappeared, wayfire worked perfectly after I rebooted. Wired.
