foldable environment seems to cut off some text

In the examples repo, when you look at the generated pdf of foldables (old and new syntax) it should type "hello" but it actually typesets "llo" suggesting that the first part is being cut off for some reason. This was an issue with other sources due to missing a CDATA tag somewhere - so this may be related, and may even be fixed already. If so, mark this as resolved.

NOTE: This is one of the issues noticed via the pdf from the "all examples" repo compilation as part of the full project audit I'm doing.

Yes this is a nefarious issue
