downloaded latest available version of this thingy from releases, unpacked DLL file into the game folder, added -quickstart option in game properties on steam - and the game just crashes when I try to start it. no game logo, no preload screen - just plain and simple crash with a "send us a crash report" window. if DLL dile is removed from the game folder, game runs perfectly fine. game version is Steam's latest, i suppose it's 1.10

I found a fix! Launch JC4 normally without the console thingy, then make sure your settings are correct before closing the game, adding the DLL back, and launching it again.

What do you mean by this? Be specific please, which settings need to be correct?

Just change your video settings doesn't matter how, as long as you change them, then relaunch it with the console
