When there exist multiple parts of speech for the same entry, only the part of speech appearing last in a file is dumped and usable for note generation. In such cases it would be good if one would be greeted with a prompt to select the desired part(s) of speech.

Tasks

  • Modify import process to dump all parts of speech, instead of overwriting
  • Add dialogue which appears when there exist multiple parts of speech, from which the user will select using a checkbox list

Hey @yue-dongchen, thank you for your sponsorship by the way!
Are you planning to send a PR implementing this?

Yes. I don't make much time for programming, but I aim to learn about the qt toolkit and implement this sometime within the next 6 weeks. As mentioned in the issue I opened in my fork, it should be a dialogue enabling the user to preview the entirety of each headword entry, which is especially relevant with Arabic (فعل، فعّل or تفعل، تفعّل (inflections) can only be distinguished this way).

Closes #6
This will also make it easier to tackle #5 in the future.
