Hey @abiosoft. colima is something I find that I use on a daily basis and really want to thank the contributors for your efforts.

Is there any way people can sponsor the work in this repo?

I would like to at least buy the contributors a coffee or contribute something small every month as a thank you 😄

Dropped a note to help locate potential sponsors and add transparency in the off-chance Docker (the product) responds to this work by trying to subvert it: docker/for-mac#6065

Thanks for the kind words. It is even about to get better with version 0.3.0 :)

Unfortunately, Github sponsors is actually limited to a few countries. I would consider creating a Patreon account for the project.

Thanks for your support.

Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum is another option. If you make the wallet addresses public on your README the amount of sponsorship received will be more transparent and you won't need to deal with limitations of the legacy financial system.

I have created a Patreon page https://www.patreon.com/colima.

You could possibly set up Github Sponsors by using Open Collective as a fiscal host: https://docs.opencollective.com/help/collectives/osc-verification/github-sponsors

Then all money goes to the collective on Open Collective and you can then invoice that collective for work and/or submit expenses to that collective to make use of the money there.

I would guess that Open Collective is open to all countries.

second a look into open collective. for some organizations, this is the safest way to provide funds.

I was looking to nominate this project to be sponsored by my company.
If you could figure out sponsoring via open collective or GH sponsors there's a chance my nomination would go through.
