should be useful for fingerprinting, or garbage/lie detecting (claims not low battery but is low battery via this method)

Interesting. I wonder how it performs on slower devices. Battery API fingerprints are not that great and may not be worth checking for anomalies. It's useful as a yes or no charging fingerprint and connecting patterns in a short-term session. But, this is a nice technique.
